This is probably one of the most important maintenance items on any Miata owner’s to-do list! If it’s not, it definitely should be. And knowing what I know now, I wish I would have done this as soon as I bought my car.
The job is simple. There are two nuts holding each bushing in place. Four total between front and rear. It helps to either loosen or undoing at least one end link front and rear to release the tension off the sway bars. Synthetic grease is recommended and I used Mobil 1. Car sounds like new after this simple fix and leading up to this maintenance job I was thinking all sorts of things need replacement when in reality lubing things up is all it took!
