Location: Travis County, Central Texas 13.5 miles (21.7 km) Southeast of Austin. 8.5 miles (13.6 km) South of (AUS) Austin-Bergman Int’l Airport.

How to get there: COTA is 13.5 miles (21.7 km) Southeast of Austin downtown or about 25 minute drive. (AUS) Austin-Bergman Int’l Airport is 8.5miles (13.6 km) North and about 15 minute drive. (SAT) San Antonio International Airport is 75.8 miles (121.9 km) or about 1 hour down i35 Southwest with cheaper flights, (HOU) William P. Hobby Airport & (IAH) George Bush Intercontinental Airport are the cheapest airports in the region, and are 166 miles (267.1 km) and 170 miles (273.5 km) or about 2.5-3 hour drive away in the Southeast direction with no direct Interstate connection, and several county and state roads with traffic lights must be taken to reach i10.
Directions to the morning meeting: Event registration and credentials collection take place at 9111 FM 812 entrance by Route 66 gas station and convenience store.Morning meetings are in Lot K. Marshal’s Tent can be accessed from Farm to Market 812 (FM812) or Elroy Road. There are times when Elroy Rd gate is closed.
Camping facilities: Spots for tents and RV’s are available in Lot K off of COTA Blvd, shower trailer available for major events.

Marshal kit: Blue COTA overalls are provided for most pro events. Otherwise it is the marshal’s responsibility to bring their own White uniform. Each hard station is equipped with a storage box containing a set of flags, a spare headset, SC board, etc. Fire extinguishers, brooms, and kitty litter are distributed at the start of the event. Most events designate a Fire extinguisher location with an Orange or “F” sign mounted on the catch fence. Radios are distributed at the morning meetings to Captains and TSP operators for F1.
