Brainerd International Raceway Needs Volunteers for Storm Damaged Track

For those of  you in the upper Mid West reading this with the ability to volunteer please consider giving a helping hand to Brainerd International Raceway. The facility was damaged by a severe storm with bleachers blown over on track, roofs ripped off buildings and campers turned over in the campsite. They could sure use your help with the cleanup.

For more information about the storm check out Racer Magazine:  http://www.racer.com/north-american-racing/item/119277-brainerd-international-raceway-appeals-for-help-to-repair-storm-damage Or better yet reach out to BIR directly and see how you could help: http://brainerdraceway.com/

Their next event is still on the schedule so do stick around to marshal the CRA Superbike Races this weekend (July 18-19).

I have yet to marshal at Brainerd myself but I’m sure it’ll fall somewhere on my to do list in the future. Wish I wasn’t so far away. The track is located in the state of Minnesota, north of Minneapolis. It is east of the Dakotas and west of Wisconsin. (Not terribly far from Canada for our neighbors to the north).
